We drive today 500km to reach Damaraland region and his spectacular Spitzkoppe rock formation. We were main to stay there 2 days but we got advice by our leader to stay only one night, which was the best idea ever! When we arrived, around 4pm, we had to fight for a piece of shade each... It was around 50 degrees. The sun isn't just warm, it literally burn you. We waited for 5 pm, (47 degrees only!!) to go and visit the ancient Bushmen painting (200 or 2000 year old! It's what our guide told us. They cannot date it!) and then have a tour of our sleeping area...
We will tonight sleep under the stars with full moon, on top of this rocks ( better as none scorpions and snakes). The most peaceful night ever!
